Mangaluru, Sep 1: As part of its ongoing 'EDUPATH', session Expert PU College, Valachil, organised awareness session titled ‘Healthy skin, sharp minds and bright future’ at the cultural centre.
The session featured renowned dermatologist Dr Malcom Pinto from Yenepoya Speciality Hospital, Mangaluru, as the resource person.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Pinto highlighted the critical link between personal hygiene, dermatological care, and general well-being. He explained the causes and preventive measures for common skin conditions, underscoring the importance of early diagnosis and timely medical consultation. Dr Pinto also shared practical skincare routines tailored for students managing demanding academic schedules.
The talk was followed by an active question and answer session, where students engaged with the specialist to clarify common doubts regarding skincare, daily hygiene, and lifestyle habits.
