Details Sought of Medical Reimbursements to Cabinet Ministers, Bureaucrats


Lucknow, Mar 29 (IANS): The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has sought details from the union and the state governments of the medical reimbursement facilities provided to cabinet ministers and IAS officials.

The directive came from the bench of Justice Uma Nath Singh and Justice V.K. Dixit Wednesday on a petition by the Association of Retired Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts filed by retired high court judge A.K. Srivastava.

The petition said that retired judges and their family members should be provided medical facilities on the lines of that for cabinet ministers and top bureaucrats.
