In a heart-wrenching tragedy, two elderly brothers collapsed and died within a few hours of each other at Ubrangala in Kumbdaje panchayat on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Ramakrishna Bhat (70) and his younger brother Keshava Bhat (65), both residents of Ubrangala.

According to details, on Sunday evening, Ramakrishna Bhat had gone to the cowshed to provide water to the cattle, while Keshava Bhat was engaged in performing pooja inside the house. After completing the rituals.

Keshava Bhat came outside and found his brother Ramakrishna collapsed near the cowshed.

Based on his alert, locals immediately rushed to the spot and helped transport Ramakrishna Bhat to a private hospital in Mulleria. However, despite their best efforts, he could not be saved.

In a shocking turn of events, within hours of Ramakrishna's demise, a grief-stricken Keshava Bhat suddenly collapsed at their residence.

Although he was also rushed to the hospital and given medical attention, he breathed his last.
