Mangaluru International Airport secures double gold at ‘Quality Concepts Convention 2026’

Mangaluru, Sep 9: In a remarkable achievement, Mangaluru International Airport has secured a proud double gold at the chapter convention on ‘Quality Concepts 2026’, organised by QCFI, Bengaluru chapter.

Team Margdeep — Krishnadas M S and Ippsita Choudhury — won gold in the Allied Concept category for their work on the Precision Approach Lighting (PAL) Category 1 System, integrating Six Sigma, Total Maintenance Control, and Lean Safety Circle methodologies to strengthen safety and efficiency.

Team Safe Edge — Pranoy Augustin Francis and Prajeesh Prakash — earned gold in the Allied (Kaizen) Concept category for an AI-enabled In-Vehicle Monitoring System using Advanced Driver Assistance System and Driver Monitoring System to support safer and smarter operations.
