Udupi, Sep 10: Renowned vocalist Vidwan Yashwanth M G is set to undertake a unique world record attempt celebrating India’s unity, diversity and linguistic harmony.
KPCC Karnataka secretary Mithun Rai released the poster of the world record programme, extending his best wishes to the initiative based on the vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’.
Speaking on the occasion, Mithun Rai said the initiative was a unique effort to bring India’s diverse linguistic and cultural traditions onto a single platform. He wished Yashwanth M G success in his endeavour to showcase the country’s unity and linguistic diversity through music.


The programme will be held on October 28 and 29 at Ravindra Kalakshetra, J C Road, Bengaluru, where Yashwanth M G will perform continuously for 28 hours, presenting songs based on the 28 states of India and 28 languages.
The historic musical endeavour aims to highlight India’s unity, integrity and rich linguistic diversity through music and is expected to be a distinctive event in the country’s cultural landscape.
Former Moodbidri Municipal Council member Purandara Devadiga, Moodbidri Planning Authority member Harshavardhan Padiwal, Kambala Committee president Chandrahass Sunil, Moodbidri Block Congress president Praveen Kumar, former municipal council member Suresh Prabhu, Naveen Kotyan, Mallika Sukesh, Rajesh Shetty and Santhosh Shetty, among others, were present on the occasion.
