Beltangady: Car and KSRTC bus collide head-on near Kokkada, several injured

Beltangady, Sep 12: Several people were injured in an accident involving a car and a KSRTC bus on the national highway near Kokkada on Saturday, September 12.

The car, which was travelling from Dharmasthala towards Bengaluru, and the bus, which was heading from Subrahmanya towards Dharmasthala, collided head-on.

The impact was severe, leaving the front portion of the bus and the car completely mangled.

Three passengers travelling in the bus and several occupants of the car are reported to have sustained injuries. The injured have been admitted to hospital for treatment. Police arrived at the spot and conducted an inspection.
