Mumbai, Sep 12: The revised edition of the felicitation volume dedicated to Lok Sevak L V Amin was ceremonially released at the department of Kannada, University of Mumbai, on Friday, September 11.

The volume documents the life, achievements and contributions of L V Amin, an organiser and entrepreneur who has rendered notable service in the fields of social service, organisation and industry. The publication is regarded as an important record highlighting his contributions to society.

Prof G N Upadhya, chief editor of the felicitation volume, editor Dr Poornima Sudhakar Shetty and Asha K Suvarna were present on the occasion.

Pratibha Rao, a research scholar from the Kannada department, read out the foreword to the book, while postgraduate student Jyothi Prasad introduced the felicitation volume to the gathering.

The programme, which brought together literature, education and social service, was held meaningfully and served as a tribute to L V Amin’s socially committed life and spirit of service.
