Mangaluru, Sep 12: Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organised a three-days Certificate Course on AI and Professional Skills in collaboration with the Magic Bus India Foundation, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in association with IBM Skills Build. The programme was conducted from September 9 to 11, for the students of first year BBA aviation management.

The training programme was designed to equip students with essential technical knowledge, digital awareness, and workplace skills required to succeed in the rapidly evolving professional environment. The sessions focused on Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals and lifelong professional skills, providing students with an understanding of emerging technologies and the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional development.

The interactive sessions encouraged students to actively participate in discussions and activities, enabling them to connect the concepts learned with real-world academic and professional situations. The programme also highlighted the growing relevance of Artificial Intelligence across industries, including the aviation sector, and helped students develop greater awareness of the skills required for future career opportunities.

The programme was conducted under the guidance and support of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, SWO, HOD’s, SDP coordinator along with faculty members and staff. The initiative successfully provided students with valuable exposure to industry-relevant digital and professional skills, contributing to their overall academic and career development.
