Mangaluru, Sep 13: The Commission for Youth, Rosario Cathedral in association with ICYM Rosario and YCS Rosario, organised “Yuva Sparsh 2026” on Sunday, September 13, at the Rosario Cultural Hall.
The programme brought together youth aged 16 to 30 years for a day of fellowship, interaction, learning and entertainment. The initiative aimed to provide young people with an engaging platform to meet, connect and participate in activities that foster friendship and community spirit.





























Fr Valerian D’Souza, parish priest of Rosario Cathedral, inaugurated the programme. A key highlight of the programme was an insightful session by Rosita Monica Sequeira, who spoke on the topic “Emotional Well-being and Stress Management”. The session addressed the importance of maintaining emotional well-being and effectively managing stress in everyday life, offering valuable perspectives to the young participants.
Lilly Cutinha, convenor of the Commission for Youth welcomed the gathering. Fr Pradeep Rodrigues, Cyril Rosario, vice president of the Parish Pastoral Council; Ida Furtado, secretary and Aldrin Vaz, coordinator of the 21 Commissions, Viola Correa, president of ICYM Rosario, Adline Alvares were present on the occasion.
Joshua D’Souza, president of YCS Rosario proposed the vote of thanks. Vinay Serrao compered the programme.
