Mumbai, Sep 14: A delegation of teachers and students from across the state met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai on Monday to raise serious concerns and grievances regarding the conduct of the MHT-CET examination.

After giving the delegation a detailed hearing, the Chief Minister issued immediate directives to address the alleged irregularities and ensure strict accountability.

Key directions issued by the Chief Minister include:

Forensic Audit of Exam Centres: All examination centres against which complaints have been lodged will undergo a comprehensive forensic audit.

Filing of FIRs: First Information Reports (FIRs) will be registered based on all the complaints submitted by the teachers, and the investigation will be handed over to a Joint Commissioner of Police.

Data Leak Investigation: A forensic audit will also be conducted into the alleged data leak, which will similarly be investigated under the supervision of the Joint Commissioner of Police.

Strict Action: Stern measures will be taken against anyone found guilty following the outcome of the probe.

Orders in this regard have been issued to the Mumbai Police Commissioner with immediate effect.
