Mangaluru, Sep 15: The AURA 2026 – Freshers’ Day was organised for the I year students of the Srinivas University, Institute of Port Shipping and Logistics Management. The programme was organised by the Cultural Forum with the active participation and support of the faculty members, II year and III year students, who worked together to warmly welcome the freshers and make the event memorable.

The event was graced by Dr Venkatesh S Amin, dean, and Prof Souparnika, head of the department, who welcomed and encouraged the new students.

Various fun-filled activities and engaging games were conducted for the selection of Fresher and Fresher – AURA 2026. The selection was judged by Prof Swathi Narayan and Prof Lalan Kumar. The freshers enthusiastically participated in the activities and showcased their confidence, communication skills, talent and enthusiasm.

The programme also featured energetic dance performances by the students, adding excitement and entertainment to the celebration.

The event concluded on a joyful note, fostering interaction, friendship and a sense of belonging among the students. AURA 2026 was successfully conducted with the valuable support and cooperation of the faculty members and students, making it a memorable Freshers’ Day celebration for the I year students.
