Karkala: Christ King Girls’ volleyball team qualifies for district-level tournament

Karkala, Sep 16: The girls’ volleyball team of Christ King English Medium High School, Karkala, secured first place in the taluk-level volleyball tournament for the high school category and qualified for the district-level tournament.

The tournament was jointly organised by the Department of Public Education, Government of Karnataka, the Office of the Block Education officer, Karkala, and Amrutha Bharathi Vidyasamsthe, Hebri.

The Christ King team was represented by class 10 students Shagun S Varma Hegde and Shaini D’Souza; class 9 student Pavani; and class 8 students Aishwarya, Anuradha R Poojari, Manvi and Siddhi Vasanth Madivala.
