Karkala, Sep 18: Manjunatha Pai Memorial Government First Grade College, Karkala organized the joint inauguration of the Fine Arts Association, Humanities Association, and Women Cell on September 17.

The programme was presided over by principal Dr Suresh Rai K and highlighted the care to be taken during content creation in digital media and suggested students to choose social issues for content creation.

The programme featured an engaging session by motivational speaker, content creator and well known YouTuber Nithin Poojary, who educated approximately 210 students on social media content selection, narration, video management, and copyright compliance. He shared his own personal issues and experiences during initial days of content creation like Charithre.

IQAC coordinator Vinay M S graced the moment with his presence and the event was organized by the fine Arts Association convenors Sowmya H K and Dr Subramanya K C, and women cell convenor Jayalakshmi.

The event was supported by the college’s teaching and non-teaching staff. The programme witnessed an invocation by Shrimanma Ballal, a welcome address by Akshitha, a vote of thanks by Trisha, and master of ceremonies duties by Poorna, alongside the active participation of various student secretaries.
