Mangaluru: Podar International School hosts sustainable fashion competition

Media Release

Mangaluru, Sep 18: Podar International School, Mangaluru, organised the eco-brand builders house competition on September 11, as part of its ‘The Conscious Closet’ initiative, encouraging students to explore sustainable fashion and waste reduction.

Each house was represented by six to seven participants, who designed their own conscious fashion brands, complete with unique names, logos and slogans.

The competition provided a platform for students to present creative and sustainable ideas to address waste in the fashion industry. Their concepts focused on reusing fabric waste, repurposing old clothes and encouraging environmentally responsible fashion choices.

The initiative aimed to raise awareness among students about how conscious clothing choices can contribute to protecting the planet.
