Youth dies of suspected electric shock in Puttur

Puttur, Sep 19: A 29-year-old youth died after reportedly suffering an electric shock while washing a vehicle using a machine at his house in Badavu near Krishnanagar in Chickamunnur village on the outskirts of Puttur city on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Rakshith, son of Eshwar Naik of Badavu. He was employed at a medical centre in Puttur city.

Rakshith is suspected to have suffered the fatal electric shock while washing the vehicle in the house premises.

Puttur Town police visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
