Bangalore: FIR Registered Against Santosh Hegde, CID Chief Dutta

Bangalore, Mar 29 (PTI): An FIR has been registered against former Karnataka Lokyukta Justice N Santosh Hegde and Criminal Investigation Department Chief R K Dutta on a complaint by an IPS official that he was mentally harassed by them by levelling charges that he possessed assets worth Rs 250 crore.

Deputy Inspector General (Internal Security Division) Hemant Nimbalkar in his March 16 complaint alleged that Hegde and Lokayukta officials conducted raids at his office and residence in 2009 and declared that he possessed assets worth Rs 250 crore disproportionate to his known sources of income.

"It has caused huge mental harassment to me from the date of raids," said Nimbalkar.

A senior police official said the FIR was not lodged earlier as they were seeking legal opinion in the matter since the charges were levelled against Hegde and Dutta.

    Satyameva Jayethe - is taught in hindu religion and all these yeddy and his then ministers are also hindus - The followers of Hindu religion right now are so confused - as to - why satya is not victorious -only asathyam (lies/deceipt) is victorious - still they blindly support these liers/crooks without hesitation -
    for truth to prevail in Karnataka - it will take a long long time - I donot think - in our life time - when u yourself can see Judiciary/Ministers/Police etc are cronies of people like Yeddy - who I think are paid handsomely to twist the law to suit these crooked people - like the FIR of Yeddy squashed but nimbalkars Fir accepted after 3 yrs. and many other instances

    With all due respect to Mr.Hegde, he was not completely neutral during his term as lokayukta chief. He was alomst acting as central government agent. He produced the mining report from 2006 instead of 2002 just to protect Congress leaders. Recently High court came back said Yeddi is not guilty in ming scam, which is wrong reporting from Mr.Hegde.

    If Hemant Nimbalkar is allowed to file case of harassment against Lokayukta enquiry then every tainted MLA ,corporator,and jailed Eddy should be allowed to do so. There is a big difference between police working under Justice Hegde and the police under BJP noose.The Hegde team worked on actual circumstances and then the investigation under the currupt judicial system give clean chit and we have the example of Mr.Eddy. He resigned because he knew what he did. He cleared all cases because the police who work after the Hegde's work are all under his government.

    This FIR was sponosred and funded by Yeddy as a vengence against Hegde for implicating the former in land scandal which led to removal from the post of CM. Eversince Yeddy is restless and trying his best to get back his chair, but no success.

    During his long and illustrious career I am sure Justice Hegde has come across several rabid monkeys like Nimbalkar, who ill advised and under some other person/s influence is trying these circus stunts. Don't worry, Justice hegde will corner him and cage him for good and try to recover all his illgotten wealth for the nation.     The name itself stands for his "Deeds". Doesn't require much explanation - "SANTOSH" means "HAPPY"...
    They (His opponents)can make a million attempts to "Tarnish" his "Name" and "Image", but they will not succeed... Let's wait and watch. After all we are living in a Democratic Country and all have the equal rights to approach the Police to file a FIR or say for that matter Courts to file a Suit!!!.

    IPS, Lokayukta, CID - all this people work for a single purpose - to give cleaner administration. The genral public looks upon them as justice doers.

    The state of affairs in India and Karnataka in particular has gone down to such an extent, many socially aware citizens ask 'will it rise back to acceptable level'?

    Incidences like this, Justice Hegde being victimized directly or proxy, is far to below acceptable limits. We have allowed politicians complete charge of our affairs. And, this did not happen overnight. Ever since Karnataka didn't have a worthy person at the helm, things have started sliding. With the communual wave among the people, we too have overlooked the deterioration. Now probably it has hit rock bottom.

    Occupational Hazards... ha ha. Justice Hegde, this is not new to you... You have faced such rubbish even earlier. Nimbalkar should know that there is no smoke without fire and so he was under investigation. ...Let him dig his own grave. There are very few officers of the same caliber as Justice Hegde who is loved, respected and adored. Nimbalkar cannot fool anyone.

    The named gentleman one of the most corrupt police official based from Maha certainly pleased to tarnish Former Lokayukta.However, @ this juncture it is premature to say about anything but apart from ill gotten wealth in Karnataka, he has flats and shopping complexes in Maha also.What made him to pursue mental harassment case against two honest and distinguished officials of Lokayukta is a mystery.
