Three killed, one critically injured as BMW crashes on Mumbai Coastal Road

Mumbai, Sep 20: Three people were killed and another was critically injured after a speeding BMW crashed on Mumbai’s Coastal Road early Sunday morning.

The accident occurred around 5.20 am opposite Lala College near Lotus Jetty. According to the Coastal Road Control Room, the car was travelling from Marine Drive towards Haji Ali when the driver apparently lost control due to overspeeding and the vehicle fell from the bridge.

All four occupants were rushed to Nair Hospital following the accident. Doctors declared three of them brought dead, while an unidentified 20-year-old man was admitted to the trauma ward in critical condition.

The deceased have been identified as Shanay Gajjal, 21, Dhirya Seth, 17, and an unidentified 25-year-old man.
