New Delhi, Sep 20: Renowned Konkani singer Joshal D’Souza, music director Sanjay Rodrigues, and singer-turned-anchor Rynel Sequeira took the national capital by storm on September 13, performing at the Konkani Cultural Association's (KCA) grand dual celebration of its 60th annual day and Monthi Fest.

The capital’s Konkani community witnessed a spectacular musical extravaganza featuring classic Konkani and Hindi hits alongside popular contemporary numbers. Joshal D’Souza, one of Konkani music's most celebrated vocalists, trainers, and actresses, earned a standing ovation as she took the stage. Renowned music director Sanjay Rodrigues, acclaimed for his work on the landmark Konkani film 'Bapache Putache Navim', mesmerised the crowd with his keyboard virtuosity. Meanwhile, singer and television anchor Rynel Sequeira kept the audience fully engaged with his soulful vocals and witty stage presence.

Earlier in the evening, Melwyn Lobo and the office-bearers of the KCA extended a warm welcome to the performing trio. Attendees expressed deep appreciation to the organisers for bringing the three acclaimed artists to New Delhi for such a memorable celebration.

Reflecting on the event, Sanjay Rodrigues shared, "Seeing such a large community gather under one roof left us completely stunned. The audience's enthusiastic response brought incredible energy to our performance, and we enjoyed every moment. We are immensely grateful to the entire KCA team for hosting us. This Delhi tour is one we will always cherish."
