KCA in New Delhi congratulates state govt on declaring Tulu as second official language

New Delhi, Sep 20: The Canara Cultural Association (KCA) in New Delhi has extended its congratulations to the Karnataka state government for its decision to declare Tulu as the second official language of the state.

KCA president Melwyn Lobo welcomed the move and expressed hope that the Tulu language will soon be included in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution. He also extended the association's full support towards the efforts being made in this regard.

Highlighting the cultural significance of the language, Lobo stated that Tulu has played a vital role in building strong relationships and uniting all communities across the coastal region in a spirit of brotherhood.
