Udupi, Sep 22: Reports circulating on various local and social media platforms regarding the alleged murder of a man from Udupi in Sharjah, UAE, have not been officially confirmed, the Udupi district police stated.

According to a press release issued by the Udupi district police, no official information or confirmation regarding the incident has been received so far from the Sharjah police department or the Indian embassy and consulate in the UAE.

The police added that if any official information concerning the reported incident is received, it will be verified and subsequently shared with the media.
