Mangaluru, Sep 23: St Agnes School CBSE, Mangaluru, organised a warm and memorable teachers’ get-together on September 22, bringing together the teaching fraternity in an atmosphere of joy, gratitude, fellowship and cherished memories.
The programme was gracefully compered by teacher Shanthi, who guided the gathering through each segment with warmth and enthusiasm.
The celebration began with a prayer, seeking God’s blessings upon the entire teaching community. This was followed by a graceful prayer dance, which created a serene and meaningful beginning to the programme.
Sr Meena Fernandes AC, vice principal delivered the welcome speech, extending a heartfelt welcome to all the teachers and setting a joyful tone for the celebration.
The gathering was made special by the presence of Stella D'Souza, Selma Matias, Irene D"Souza, Gracilla Periera, Nayana Dias and Anitha Patrao, whose participation added warmth and significance to the occasion.
The teachers then travelled down memory lane through ‘Singing memories of the past,’ a nostalgic musical presentation that brought back many beautiful moments and memories. This was followed by an energetic entertainment dance, which filled the gathering with laughter, enthusiasm and joy.
A special highlight of the programme was the felicitation of teachers, honouring and appreciating their dedication, commitment and valuable contribution to the institution. It was a heartfelt gesture of gratitude towards the teachers for their years of service and their role in shaping young minds.
The principal’s message added meaning and inspiration to the celebration. She expressed her appreciation for the dedication and commitment of the teaching community and highlighted the importance of unity, mutual respect, teamwork and cherishing the relationships built over the years.
