Hyderabad, Sep 25: Shares of Hyderabad-headquartered Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd surged on Friday after the company informed stock exchanges that its US-based wholly-owned subsidiary had secured an order worth approximately Rs 147 crore from IBM Cloud Inc.
The stock opened at Rs 20.88 on the BSE, compared with its previous close of Rs 20.05. Amid trading volumes that were more than 11.28 times higher, the shares climbed to an intraday high of Rs 23.50, marking a gain of 17.20%. The stock was last trading at Rs 22.06, up Rs 2.01 or 10.02%. The company's market capitalisation stood at Rs 2,036.32 crore.

The stock has outperformed its sector by 10.94% during the session and has gained 16.29% over the past four trading sessions. It was also trading above its 5-day, 20-day, 50-day, 100-day and 200-day moving averages.
Rs 147 crore order from IBM Cloud
According to the company's latest exchange filing, Global Impx Inc, its US-based wholly-owned subsidiary, received an order from IBM Cloud Inc for AI Infrastructure Design, Deployment and Support Services.
The statement of work, valued at USD 15.5 million, approximately Rs 147 crore, was awarded under a Master Services Agreement dated August 21, 2026.
As per the company filing, the project covers the design, deployment, configuration, integration, testing and support of an AI Infrastructure Environment.
The statement of work was signed on September 18, 2026, while the company received the signed copy on September 24. The company said work commenced on September 24 and will be completed according to the project plan approved by the client.
Blue Cloud Softech Solutions has a 52-week high of Rs 38, recorded on November 6, 2025, while its 52-week low of Rs 16.51 was recorded on January 27, 2026.
According to BSE Analytics, the stock has delivered a return of 324.95% over five years. On a year-to-date basis, it has gained 5.29%, while the benchmark index has declined 13.27% during the same period.
