Udupi, Sep 26: Saturn, regarded as one of the most beautiful planets in the solar system, will be visible very close to the full moon in the eastern sky from 7 pm to 9 pm on September 26, providing astronomy enthusiasts an opportunity to observe the celestial spectacle.

R Manohar has made arrangements for astronomy enthusiasts to view the full moon and Saturn using internationally recognised binoculars and a telescope, event organiser Ganeshraj Saralebettu said.

The observation facility has been arranged on the third floor of Bhavani Lodge in Shyam Complex at Maruthi Veethika in Udupi, near the Sanskrit College.

According to Saralebettu, the arrangement will enable astronomy enthusiasts and members of the public to observe the full moon and Saturn through the binoculars and telescope during the two-hour period.

The event is intended to provide an opportunity for those interested in astronomy to observe Saturn and the full moon together in the evening sky.
