Bengaluru, Sep 26: A video purportedly showing a youth confronting BJP MLA Munirathna and allegedly grabbing him by the collar after accusing him of urinating in a public place has gone viral on social media.

The incident reportedly took place near a vacant plot in Sadashivanagar, where the youth allegedly confronted Munirathna after seeing him urinating at the spot.

A heated argument reportedly broke out between the two, with the youth allegedly grabbing the MLA by the collar during the confrontation.

The youth reportedly alleged that Munirathna had used abusive and obscene words. He claimed that he had questioned the MLA after Munirathna allegedly made derogatory remarks about his mother.

Several members of the public who were present at the spot reportedly captured the confrontation between the youth and the MLA on their mobile phones. As the situation appeared to be escalating, Munirathna was seen seemingly calming down.

Police subsequently arrived at the spot and intervened to bring the situation under control.

The video of the incident is now widely circulating on social media, with members of the public offering varied reactions to the episode.
