Kundapur, Sep 27: A huge dolphin was found dead in a decomposed state on the seashore near the Kodi lighthouse here.
The Kundapur unit of the Reef Watch organisation conducted a post-mortem on the marine mammal.
Following the examination, the dolphin was buried on the beach in coordination with the Kundapur forest department. The coastal security police also assisted in the operation.
Dr Aju of Reef Watch, assistant staff Nagaraj Poojary, and Manjunath from the forest department were present.
