Panaji, Sep 27: Goa Police Crime Branch on Saturday arrested a 24-year-old man and detained a 17-year-old minor, both natives of Odisha, for allegedly possessing ganja worth around Rs 10.5 lakh at Mapusa.
Crime Branch SP Rahul Gupta said police conducted a raid at the interstate bus terminal in Mapusa and apprehended the accused along with the minor.
Police allegedly recovered 10.7 kg of suspected ganja from their possession. The narcotic substance was found concealed in a shoulder bag and hand trolley, Gupta said.
He added that the accused allegedly used the minor to carry or supply the drugs.
The suspected ganja was seized under a search-and-seizure panchanama, police said.
