Mangaluru, Sep 28: An information workshop on ‘Responsibilities of Parents in Child Development in the Present Context’ was organized at the Dharma Jyothi Social Centre on September 27.
The event was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by sister Veera Monis, director of the Dharma Jyothi Social Centre.
The resource person, counsellor Judy Pinto, explained briefly that children are a gift from God. She said, "Today's children are tomorrow's citizens, and the way we raise them determines the future of our country."
Melvin and Dilshad represented the parents. Renita Lewis welcomed the gathering, and Neetha delivered the vote of thanks. Sunitha compered the programme.
