Udupi, Sep 28: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), an Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University, will host the Manipal Start-Up Expo 2026 on September 29 at Dr TMA Pai Halls, KMC, Manipal. Organised by the Manipal-Government of Karnataka Bioincubator (MGOKB) and the Manipal Universal Technology Business Incubator (MUTBI), the expo will provide a platform for start-ups, MSMEs, student innovators, investors, industry leaders, academia, policymakers and ecosystem enablers to showcase innovations, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration, investment and market access.
The expo will showcase 80+ start-ups and participating ventures, providing a vibrant platform for innovators and businesses to present their technologies, products, and solutions to investors, industry representatives, mentors, experts, and other stakeholders across the innovation ecosystem.
MGOKB, a technology business incubator jointly established by MAHE and the Government of Karnataka, supports technology-driven entrepreneurship throughout the start-up journey, from ideation and incubation to product development, validation and commercialisation. The expo will build on this ecosystem by facilitating direct interactions among emerging ventures, potential investors, customers, industry partners and mentors.
The initiative is being organised in collaboration with MIDAS (Medical Instruments, Devices and Allied Services), DST, MAHE HUB, and the Innovation Centre, MAHE. Strategic collaborations with TiE Mangaluru, the Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE), the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), IBioM, and the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) will further strengthen the event's industry and innovation ecosystem.
State Bank of India (SBI) and Union Bank of India are the banking partners, while Sageowl Solutions and Beacon (Best Engineering Aids & Consultancies Limited) are among the industry partners supporting the expo.
The programme will feature dedicated tracks for start-ups and MSMEs, student innovators, and delegates. Key sessions will include expert keynote addresses, start-up pitch sessions, product launches, panel discussions, interactive exhibitions, networking sessions and ecosystem engagement programmes.
