Udupi, Sep 28: Raja Katapady’s much-awaited Tulu film ‘Bellada Gatti’, which has generated curiosity for several reasons since its inception, is ready for release and will hit theatres on November 20. The ‘Bellada Gatti’ team, which has begun its promotional activities, is now ready to reach the audience through a premiere show. The premiere will be held on October 1 at 6:15 pm at Bharat Mall in Times Square Mall, Udupi.
Produced by Ramakrishna Sujeer Bardila under the Kateel Prasad Production Katapady banner, ‘Bellada Gatti’ has been written and directed by Raja Katapady, who has penned the story and screenplay.
Raja Katapady has woven a story set in a Tulunadu family during the 1980s in ‘Bellada Gatti’. The story has been developed around various elements, including faith, superstition and curses.
The film features Manohar Shetty Nandalike, Sujatha Shaktinagar, Vijith Kotyan, Sunil Nelligudde, Kishmitha Poojary, Apeksha Shetty, Sujatha Shetty Perinje, Sohana Shankar, Jayakar Kundar, Deeksha Brahmavar, Gunaprasad, Karan, Chaithali Shet, Deshna and others.
The film features cinematography by Prajwal Suvarna, who has also handled the editing and VFX.
