Mangaluru, Sep 28: On the occasion of World Heart Day, Indiana Hospital, Mangaluru, is offering a comprehensive heart check-up package at a discounted price of Rs 1,499, valid until September 30.
The package, which is regularly priced at Rs 3,000, includes a complete cardiac evaluation comprising ECHO/TMT, lipid profile, creatinine, random blood sugar (RBS), ECG, diet counselling and consultation with a cardiologist.
The hospital has advised people to undergo regular heart check-ups, particularly those experiencing sleep deprivation due to excessive mobile and social media use; dehydration caused by spending long hours in air-conditioned environments; sedentary lifestyles with little or no physical activity; and those experiencing stress or dependent on smoking, alcohol and fast food.
People with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, high cholesterol or a family history of heart disease are also advised to undergo a heart check-up.
