Mangaluru, Sep 28: St. Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, in collaboration with the students cabinet and the Indian Knowledge System (IKS), organized ‘Tulunada Vaibhava’ on Saturday, 26 September 2026, on the college campus. The programme showcased the rich cultural heritage, art, music and folk traditions of Tulunadu.

The programme was inaugurated by principal, Sr Dr M. Venissa AC, who also presided over the event. In her address, she highlighted the importance of introducing the younger generation to the art, culture and traditions of Tulunadu. She emphasized that such programmes help students remain connected to their cultural roots and understand the values and significance underlying traditional practices. She also stressed the responsibility of the younger generation to preserve and carry forward this rich heritage to future generations.

The programme was attended by S. Dr Vinora AC the coordinator of the postgraduate studies; Sr Dr Roopa Rodrigues AC the vice-principal; Dr. Uday Kumar B. the programme coordinator; Mokshitha S. the co-coordinator; Ashton Vaz, cabinet secretary; along with faculty members and students of the College.

The cultural segment featured a variety of performances representing the vibrant traditions of Tulunadu, including dance, drama and group singing, which captivated the audience. The programme also featured pili nalike, adding to the cultural splendour of the event.

The programme was compered by Dhanvitha, and Preksha proposed the vote of thanks.
