Mangaluru, Sept 28: The new office premises of Water Bird Environmental Solutions, Water Bird Services and RS Realty Promotions at Paradise Commercial Complex, Shop Nos. 202, 205 and 207, second floor, near the deputy commissioner's office, Padil, were inaugurated on Saturday, September 26, at 10.30 am.
The programme began with a prayer by the team, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp and a welcome dance presented by team members. Manasa compered the programme.
Water Bird Environmental Solutions was inaugurated by John Samuel and his family, while Water Bird Services was inaugurated by Fr Walter D'Souza. RS Realty Promotions was inaugurated by Fr Ashwin Cardoza.
Fr Faustine Lobo, director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions, offered prayers and blessed the office premises.
The gathering was welcomed by Vijeth Martis, general manager, who extended greetings to the dignitaries, guests, staff and well-wishers present.
Focus on water and wastewater management
Water Bird Environmental Solutions provides solutions in water and wastewater treatment, water management, sewage treatment and reuse, and other environmental management requirements, with a focus on the sustainable and responsible use of water resources.
Col Dr Praveen Martis SJ, vice chancellor, St Aloysius deemed to be university, congratulated the team and conveyed his best wishes for its future endeavours.
Speaking on the occasion, John Samuel, founder and managing director, Water Bird Water Treatment Chemicals, Dubai, spoke about his vision of establishing Water Bird Environmental Solutions in Mangaluru. He shared his passion for water and its management, as well as his long-standing dream of bringing the venture to his hometown.
Despite coming from a non-science background, Samuel said his interest and passion for water management led him to pursue the field and build the business. He expressed his vision of expanding the company's presence further across India in the future.
“Drawing on extensive experience and industry expertise accumulated over 36 years, we have developed a strong understanding of the evolving challenges in water and wastewater management. This knowledge enables us to deliver innovative, reliable, and sustainable solutions tailored to the specific requirements of the Indian market, with a particular focus on wastewater treatment, water recovery, and water reuse.
Our approach goes beyond technology. We combine technical expertise, practical experience, and a clear understanding of our customers’ requirements to deliver solutions that are efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable,” said Samuel.
Water Bird's Middle East footprint
Ambrish Sanghavi, director, Water Bird Water Treatment Chemicals Limited Liability Company, Dubai, introduced Water Bird and spoke about its operations and work in the Middle East, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
He highlighted the company's work in water and wastewater treatment, the reuse of treated sewage water and sustainable water management solutions.
Former MLA J R Lobo spoke about Mangaluru and the city's development, highlighting the need to balance growth with environmental considerations and the changing needs of the city.
As part of the programme, John Samuel honoured the dignitaries and acknowledged the contribution of staff and workers for their dedicated efforts and support.
Anita Frank, administration manager, Water Bird Environmental Solutions and Water Bird Services, proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, priests, staff members, well-wishers, friends and family members for their presence and support.
