Warm Day for Delhi


New Delhi, Mar 31 (IANS): It was a warm and sunny day in the capital Saturday with the minimum temperature settling at 18.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for the season. The met department has forecast clear day ahead.

"Mainly clear sky, likely to become partly cloudy sky towards night. Today's (Saturday) maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The humidity levels recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 58 percent.

The maximum temperature recorded Friday was two notches above average at 34.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled a notch above average for the season at 19.1 degrees Celsius.
