Surekha Shetty elected joint secretary and Amarnath Shetty elected honorary secretary

Bengaluru, Sep 30: The election process for the new Managing Committee and Executive Committee of the prestigious Bunts Sangha Bengaluru for the 2026–29 term was conducted. The election process was held simultaneously at the Bunts Sangha Bengaluru premises and the Mulki Sundararama Shetty Memorial MSRS Nagar Trust Hall, where the new office-bearers were elected.
Dr Deepak Shetty has been elected as the president of the new Managing Committee. Madhukar M Shetty and Soumyapriya Hegde have been elected as vice presidents, Amarnath Shetty as honorary secretary, Surekha Shetty as joint secretary, and Ramith B Shetty as treasurer.
The following members have been elected to the Executive Committee: Anita P Bhandari, Arun Kumar Shetty H, CA Chandrashekar Shetty, Heera Anup Hegde, Keerthan Shetty, CA Kishore Shetty, Malathi J Shetty, Nithyanaranjan Shetty, Prasad Kumar Shetty, Prashanth Shetty S, Prathap Shetty, Ramdas Shetty K S, Shakuntala Shetty, Surendra Shetty H, and Umesh Poonja D.
The newly elected Managing Committee will prioritise the organisational growth of Bunts Sangha, the welfare of its members, and the further development of the educational and social initiatives undertaken by the sangha. The new team has stated that it will work towards formulating and effectively implementing various projects aimed at the overall development of the sangha and the school.
With the support of its members, community leaders and well-wishers, the new team intends to continue and strengthen the development initiatives of the sangha. Action plans will be undertaken to respond to the needs of members, expand the activities of the sangha more effectively, and introduce educational and social programmes that will benefit future generations.
The newly elected Managing Committee has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to all members who actively participated in the election process and extended their valuable cooperation, support and votes. The new team has also appealed to all members to continue extending the same support and cooperation throughout the 2026–29 term.
