Udupi: Actress Ramya Visits Temples, Thanks God for Congress Victory

Udupi, Mar 31: Sandalwood star and member of Youth Congress Ramya on Saturday March 31 visited Shree Mahisha Mardini Temple near here for a special prayer.

The visit was specially to thank the divine for Congress victory in the recent Udupi-Chikmagalur bypoll.

Speaking on the occasion, she said the the bypoll victory was a victory of the people who voted for Congress.

"It is a victory against corruption. I had vowed to express my gratitude to God if J P Hegde wins the election, and so I have come to fulfill it," she said.

Ramya further added, "We must support good people. The victory was because possible because of the joint efforts of Congress leaders and Youth Congress workers."

Ramya also visited Udupi's Shree Babbuswamy Temple. She also obliged her fans with autographs.

She was accompanied by Congress leaders Pramod Madhwaraj, Amrith Shenoy, Ramesh Kanchan, Bhaskar Kidiyoor, Geeta Shet and others.
