India men’s squash team wins bronze at Asian Games

Aichi-Nagoya, Oct 1: India’s men’s squash team secured the bronze medal at the Asian Games 2026 after losing 1-2 to Malaysia in the semifinal at Aichi-Nagoya in Japan on Thursday.

India’s women’s squash team had also secured a bronze medal earlier in the day after suffering a 1-2 semifinal defeat against Hong Kong.

The two squash bronze medals helped India add to its medal haul on Day 12 of the Asian Games.

India’s overall medal tally has reached 65, comprising 10 gold, 23 silver and 32 bronze medals. India is currently placed eighth in the medal standings.
