Sullia: Two arrested for setting parked bike on fire at Ambetadka

Sullia, Oct 1: The Sullia police have arrested two individuals in connection with an incident where a bike parked inside a garage was set on fire by miscreants at Ambetadka in Sullia Kasaba village.

The incident took place on the night of August 26.

The arrested accused have been identified as Dayananda (30), a resident of Aivarnadu in Sullia, and Darshanaraju (23), a resident of Sullia Kasaba.

Based on the incident, a case was registered at the Sullia police station (Crime No: 120/2026) under section 326(g) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

Following a thorough investigation, the police apprehended the duo and produced them before the court. The court has remanded both accused to judicial custody.
