KSRTC to operate Dasara package tours from Udupi from Oct 11 to 20

Udupi, Oct 3: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Mangaluru Division, has organised special package tours from the Udupi bus unit to facilitate visits to nearby temples and tourist attractions during Dasara. The package tours will operate from October 11 to 20.

Under the first package tour route, buses will depart from the Udupi City Transport Bus Stand at 7:30 am and visit Sri Annapoorneshwari Temple at Kodyadka, Sri Sharadamba Temple at Sringeri via the S K border, Rishyasringeshwara Temple at Kigga, Hariharapura Math and Sri Anantha Padmanabha Temple at Perdoor before returning to the Udupi City Transport Bus Stand at 8 pm.

Under the second package tour route, buses will depart from the Udupi City Transport Bus Stand at 7:30 am and visit Neelavara Sri Mahishamardini Temple, Mandarthi Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple, Kamalashile Sri Brahmi Durgaparameshwari Temple, Saukoor Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple, Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple and Maranakatte Sri Brahmalingeshwara Temple before returning to the Udupi City Transport Bus Stand at 6:30 pm.

For both package tour routes, the fare has been fixed at Rs 500 for adults and Rs 400 for children aged between six and 12 years.

The senior divisional controller of the Mangaluru KSRTC Division has stated in a release that the public can make use of the package tour services.
