Organized by Jawahar L Castelino and Joseph Mendonca under Willbird Al Sirakh Management Consultancies Pvt Ltd, the event went beyond a conventional musical programme, bringing together accomplished musicians, celebrated singers, dancers, choir members, and an illusionist to create a memorable live entertainment experience.
Band Elite, co-founded by Karen Crasta and Wilson Lasrado, served as the musical force behind the evening. The instrumental lineup featured Wilson Lasrado on bass guitar, Ashwin Sequeira on drums, Alister D’Souza on lead guitar, Prajwal Fronteiro on trumpet, and Reuben Machado on flute and saxophone. Karen Crasta also effectively managed the show as the event coordinator.
The stage came alive with a stellar lineup of celebrated singers from the Konkani music scene, including Karen Crasta, Velita Lobo, Gavin Menezes, Jason Lobo, Ashvija Mendonsa, Rolston Pinto, Eddie Pinto, and Roshan D’Souza. Their varied repertoire was further enriched by the harmonious backing vocals provided by the Blue Angels Choir.
Adding a dynamic visual dimension to the programme, the Urban Groove Dance Team performed energetic choreography that perfectly complemented the live musical numbers. A meaningful highlight of the evening was the special appearance of ten young students from Aura By Karen Vocal Classes, providing the budding talents with a platform to build confidence in a professional performance environment.
Beyond music and dance, the audience was captivated by a magic show presented by Badshah the Illusionist. Sheldon Crasta hosted the event, seamlessly connecting the different segments and keeping the crowd highly engaged throughout the evening.
