New Chandigarh, Oct 4: India defeated Pakistan by 19 runs in their T20I encounter, while West Indies captain Shai Hope's unbeaten century helped his side beat India by five wickets in the third ODI and deny the hosts a clean sweep.
Pakistan slipped to 39-3 in their chase before Hasan Nawaz's 96 off 51 balls revived their innings. However, Pakistan could manage only 192-6 and fell short by 19 runs.
The victory was India's seventh consecutive win over Pakistan in T20Is and their 14th in 18 meetings between the two sides in the format.

In the third ODI at New Chandigarh, India saw their total of 351-7 overhauled by West Indies with 10 balls remaining. Hope scored 138? off 143 balls? and struck his 21st ODI century and second in successive matches to guide the visitors to a five-wicket victory.
Hope's 143-ball innings featured 17 fours and three sixes. His final six, a slog sweep over deep fine leg off Naman Dhir, brought the scores level before he hit the winning single to long-off.
The match also witnessed a controversial dismissal when Sherfane Rutherford was given out caught behind off Dhir for 24. The on-field decision was upheld following a review, although Rutherford appeared to believe the Snicko spike came from the ball hitting his pad rather than his bat.
Rutherford's dismissal left West Indies at 206-3 after 30 overs. Hope then shared half-century partnerships with Keemo Paul, who scored 44, and Gudakesh Motie, who made 19. Earlier, Hope had added 109 runs with Amir Jangoo, who contributed 67.
India's 351-7 was built around an unbeaten 129 from KL Rahul off 87 balls, Rohit Sharma's 92 off 85 deliveries and Ruturaj Gaikwad's 57 off 69 balls.
India had slipped to 4-2 early in the innings, with Shubman Gill dismissed for one and Virat Kohli falling for a golden duck off successive deliveries from Jayden Seales in the third over.
Gill edged behind and was caught one-handed by Hope before Seales bowled Kohli, sending his middle stump flying.
The teams will now turn their attention to a five-match T20I series beginning in Lucknow on Tuesday. Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Shreyas Iyer and 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi are among the players joining the squad after India's Asian Games campaign.
Cricket has featured at every Asian Games since 2010, except the 2018 edition in Indonesia. India won gold on their Asian Games debut in China in 2022 and retained the title in Japan this year.
The next Asian Games are scheduled to be held in Qatar in November 2030.
