Karkala, Oct 5: A 25-year-old youth hailing from Sanoor lost his life on the spot in a horrific road accident involving a bike and a lorry near the Karkala bypass on the night of Sunday, October 4.
The deceased has been identified as Vignesh Acharya (25), a resident of Kujumar Gudde in Sanoor.
The tragic accident took place around 7 pm. According to reports, a collision occurred between the bike Vignesh was riding and a lorry. Due to the sheer impact of the crash, he sustained severe injuries and breathed his last at the scene.
The local police visited the accident spot, conducted a preliminary inspection, and have registered a case. Further investigations into the incident are currently underway.
