Kanara Entrepreneurs brings VisionX back to city: 'Dream, Dare, Build'

Media Release

Bengaluru, Oct 6: For individuals with a business idea who do not know where to begin, those considering a career beyond a standard 9-to-5 job, or anyone simply curious about what it takes to become an entrepreneur, Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE) is bringing back VisionX Bengaluru 2026, an entrepreneurship programme for Christian youth aged 18 to 35 years, on Sunday, November 1, at Paalanaa Bhavana, Bengaluru.

Following the success of its inaugural Bengaluru edition in October 2025, which brought together over 90 enthusiastic participants, and subsequent editions in Goa and Mangaluru in 2026, VisionX returns to Bengaluru for its second edition with the theme 'Dream. Dare. Build.'

The programme aims to inspire young people to explore entrepreneurship, learn from experienced founders, and take practical steps towards building their own ventures.

Building on the VisionX experience

The previous editions of VisionX have brought together students, working professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, and business founders for meaningful learning and networking.

The experiences shared by participants reflect the impact of the initiative. One participant who travelled from Pune described the programme as a fruitful session that was well worth the travel.

Another participant, who made a last-minute decision to travel from Mangaluru to Bengaluru, stated that the welcoming atmosphere was exceptional, noting they had never before found a community where one could walk in and immediately feel such a strong sense of belonging.

A student pursuing a bachelor's degree described the programme as immensely beneficial, appreciating the valuable insights from speakers and the productive atmosphere created by fellow participants.

Building on these experiences, this year's VisionX promises an engaging mix of entrepreneurial insights, real-life experiences, practical learning, and meaningful connections.

Blessing for the VisionX journey

Ahead of the second Bengaluru edition, Archbishop of Bangalore His Grace Most Rev Dr Peter Machado blessed the KE VisionX programme on September 27. The occasion was a meaningful affirmation of VisionX’s endeavour to encourage young people to dream bigger, explore entrepreneurship, and have the courage to build something of their own.

Dream. Dare. Build. – What to expect?

  • DREAM – Discovering opportunities beyond conventional careers: Entrepreneurship begins with recognising an opportunity. Through engaging conversations on alternate careers and business possibilities, participants will explore how everyday problems, changing customer needs, and gaps in existing products and services can inspire new ventures.

  • DARE – Learning from those who took the leap: Discussions will cover what it really takes to start a business. Entrepreneurs will share their journeys, including the risks taken, challenges faced, mistakes made, and lessons learnt. The conversations will explore how to overcome hesitation, learn from failure, and take the first steps towards entrepreneurship.

  • BUILD – Turning ideas into action: The highlight of VisionX will be its practical Idea-to-Action workshop, where participants will work on developing and refining business ideas. Through a hands-on experience, they will explore customer problems, evaluate potential solutions, and learn how to test an idea before investing significant time or money.

Participants do not need to arrive with a fully developed business idea. Curiosity and a willingness to explore are enough to get started.

Learning from entrepreneurs who have built their own ventures

VisionX Bengaluru 2026 will feature entrepreneurs and business leaders from diverse industries who will share their experiences and practical insights.

The speaker lineup includes Rohit Fernandes, co-founder and CEO of Brands of Bharat and founder of Shippr; Vinod Goveas, founder of Pinnacle Career Partners; Denzil Lewis, co-founder of Bhasha.io; Shona Prabhu, founder of Nutrifymydiet; and Prenie Pereira, founder of Palasa.

Their diverse entrepreneurial journeys will offer participants insights into identifying opportunities, making career choices, overcoming business challenges, and building sustainable ventures.

More than an event – A community of entrepreneurs

VisionX also offers young people an opportunity to connect with experienced entrepreneurs, mentors, and like-minded peers through the Kanara Entrepreneurs network.

Whether participants are students exploring career possibilities, professionals considering entrepreneurship, or early-stage founders looking to grow their ventures, VisionX provides a platform to exchange ideas, build relationships, and discover new opportunities.

Through this initiative, Kanara Entrepreneurs aims to nurture entrepreneurship among Christian youth and create a supportive ecosystem where young people can learn, collaborate, and grow.

Registrations are open, and limited seats are available. Interested individuals can register at https://forms.gle/HfwxP1gxQvYWrPRN6

An entrepreneurial journey could begin with one idea, one conversation, or one bold step. Aspiring entrepreneurs are encouraged to join VisionX Bengaluru 2026 and discover what they can build.
