Fuel Prices Hiked in Pakistan


Islamabad, Apr 1 (IANS): The Pakistan government has announced a hike in fuel prices.

The price of petrol was raised by Rs.8.02 to Rs.105.68 a litre while that of diesel by Rs.4.70 to Rs.108.16, the Dawn reported Sunday.

The rate of kerosene oil went up by Rs.5.29 to Rs.101.69 a litre while Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) prices increased by Rs.11.98 per litre.

A petroleum ministry official said Saturday the prices were increased in line with international trends.
