Bangalore: Ten Nabbed for PUC Question Paper Leak

Bangalore: Ten Nabbed for PUC Question Paper Leak

Bangalore, Arp 2 (PTI): Ten persons were today arrested in connection with the leakage of second year Pre-University examination papers of Mathematics and Physics subjects at Chikmagalur recently, a top CID official said.

Investigation revealed that the accused allegedly took the Mathematics and Physics question papers from the Sub Treasury, Kadur, made the photo copies inside the Sub Treasury itself and then sold these photo copies to several persons in different parts of the state.

The probe disclosed that Pasha, a first time offender masterminded the whole racket. He befriended Sunil Kumar, an employee of the Sub Treasury to whom its keys were entrusted and hatched the whole plan, DGP (CID) Roopak Kumar Dutta told reporters here.

Sunil Kumar allowed Pasha inside the Sub Treasury and locked it from outside. Pasha opened the Sub Treasury, took the question papers and the photo copies and after he finished taking the photo copies, Kumar opened the door for him to come out, the official alleged.

The question papers leaked on March 19 leading to re-scheduling of exams.

On March 20, the state government ordered CID probe into the question paper leakage.

    CORRECTION:
Let there be Ten Question Papers covering the whole book so that the Tutorial Cartels will not train their students in one pattern. Later outsource printing of the Question Papers to a reputed printing company outside the state.
Let the confidential printing press through their computer programming pick one Question Paper per subject and get them printed to required quantity. Then distribute the stipulated Bundles of Question Papers to the DC of the region in a Temper-proof container with two locks and hand over one key to the police chief of that region and another to the DC. Just one day before the exam let the DC invite the police chief and open the lock container in public view and distribute them to the stipulated colleges.
I even feel that, it is high time we have a centralised syllabus for Pre-University & Degree classes and a single exam time table for the whole country.

    Dear Ronald A.
    Bejai/Mangalore.
I was bit disappointed to read your comments. As a Christian, I think the word you used "Hang him" it is very harsh as he do not deserve to this punishment. Sorry for the correction. Actually, Who we are to judge a person? According to Bible, Romans 2:1-11 "Therefore you are without excuse, whoever you are, when you judge someone else. For on whatever grounds you judge another, you condemn yourself, because you who judge practice the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment is in accordance with truth against those who practice such things. And do you think, whoever you are, when you judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself, that you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you have contempt for the wealth of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, and yet do not know11 that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath for yourselves in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed! He will reward each one according to his works eternal life to those who by perseverance in good works seek glory and honor and immortality, but wrath and anger to those who live in selfish ambition and do not obey the truth but follow unrighteousness. There will be affliction and distress on everyone who does evil, on the Jew first and also the Greek, but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, for the Jew first and also the Greek. For there is no partiality with God."

Therefore, I would request every readers, writers to judge yourselves first before writing any comments. Magaloreans are very intelligent people and any harsh comments will lead into communal hatred.Let us all live like brothers and sisters and love one another. Instead, try to write some positive & encouraging comments which a sinner can turn to a good Samaritan. God bless you Ron. please do not feel bad. It's my kind advice.Tnx
