Bangalore : ‘Trusted Senses’ - Art Exhibition by Four Mangalorean Artists

Bangalore, Apr 7: An art exhibition “Muliya Trusted Senses” by four professional artists of Mangalore origin will be hosted at Chitrakala Parishat, Bangalore.  Muliya Jewels - the most trusted Jewelry House of Puttur and Kodagu is organizing this event in Bangalore from 12th -18th April 2012. The participating artists are Anil Devadiga, Jeevan A.S., Rajendra Kedige and Syed Asif Ali.

The venue of the exhibition is Gallery No. 3, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat, Art Complex, Kumara Krupa Road, Bangalore 560 001and the display will be open to public viewing from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the days of the exhibition.

Inauguration: Muliya ‘Trusted Senses art exhibition will be inaugurated at 10:30 a.m. on 12th April by Sri Muliya Keshava Prasad, Chairman and Managing Director of Muliya Jewels, Bangalore. Sri Chi. Su. Krishna Setty, President, Karnataka Lalithkala Academy, Bangalore and Sri Venu Sharma, Founder & CEO, Ideanow (Brand Consulting), Bangalore will be the Guests of Honour on the occasion.

About the Exhibition: This is a one-of-its-kind event being organized in Bangalore and the objective of this exhibition is to give exposure to artists of the coastal region in the state capital, where they attract wider attention & appreciation. Though this is a small beginning, the events like this will pave the way for improving the profile of our artists and enable them to gain national and international recognition.
















Art is always a personal expression of the artist and his view of life, which is gained and formed through his interaction with his sensory perceptions. Hence, ‘Trusted Senses’ has been chosen as the title of the exhibition and the works will depict the unique perspectives of four different individuals expressed through art.

All the participating artists are experienced professionals with a good standing in the art community and participating in this exhibition will open new vistas for their continuing involvement in art.

Muliya Jewels, the seven-decade old trusted and reputed jewellery house is the sponsor for this exhibition. Speaking about the event Sri Keshava Prasad Muliya Said that “We at Muliya have special value for the rich artistic heritage of India, may it be Chithrakala or Designer jewellery. Both are siblings. Artists and designers showcase the desire and imagination of people, and we work hard to bring it to reality.”
