Mangalore, Apr 7:
At a joint press meet of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal at their office here on Saturday April 7, Krishnamurthy, divisional secretary, VHP held the district administration and the police commissioner responsible for any violent public reaction in future with regard to cattle trafficking incidents.

He said the incident of cattle trafficking and the consequence reported on Saturday morning proves that the district administration and the police department is inactive and unable to curb illegal transportation of cattle.

"Every time Bajrang Dal activists are forced to trace the illegal trafficking of cattle. The police commissioner claims that police department is not getting information on time to trace such activities. The incident has seriously hurt the sentiments of those who see divinity in cow," he said.

He added further, "Saturday’s incident is inhuman. The population of cows is decreasing at an alarming rate, and if it continues, the city might face shortage of milk in the future."

Sharan Pumpwell, divisional convener of Bajrang Dal Mangalore Division urged that police squads be formed by the police department to combat cattle trafficking in city.

Harish Amtady, Pradeep Pumpwell, Puneeth among others were present at the press meet.

Please get the facts right about Hindus getting converted to Islam & to other religions.Islam as a religion will be last in the list for anyone who wants to convert.Poor Hindus were always been lured by other religions through monetary benefit or by misguided facts. Hindu religion with all its shortcomings is the best & oldest in the world.

I used see many cows grazing in the vacant land in front of my house and also spending night in the open lands elsewhere in Mangalore.

Now-a-days they are not to be seen as the butchers have stolen them and killed for beaf.

I curse all the cow killers and eaters to permanently perish.

Bajirangi's pls dont bring bad name to hinduism first try to solve the problems in our religon try to know why so many people converted to Islam and christianity,do you really know our slokas, mantras Ramayana and Mahabaratha, is every hindu treated equally? Instead of going behind those cow thieves try to remove caste system and make it only one Hindu religon that may stop people converting to other religons and bring unity in hinduism. We hindus respect all religons but its in our hands to make us feel proud that we are Hindus.stop going behind cow thieves and start to help the hindu society.

Milk Shortage? Add more water into milk. Nandini is having excess milk with no buyers? Somashekar Reddy is starting Nandini Icecream spending 30 crores using Italian Technology. Definitely Nagesh Nayak won't eat Nandini Icecream. Come on guys despite all drama from BD, beef is available every where. No need to worry, if they bring in anti slaughter law, the prize will decrease. As there will be no buyers for cattles Ox, Bulls, cows freely available on street. Cut n eat. When ever Christmas, Easter or Eid feast comes Bajrangdal starts it drama. DVS might have sent Shewetha Pathra to BD to keep an eye on cattle trafficking. Jai ho Bajrang Dal.

He (Krishnamurthy, divisional secretary, VHP) added further, "Saturday’s incident is inhuman. The population of cows is decreasing at an alarming rate, and if it continues, the city might face shortage of milk in the future."

Is Krishnamurthy referring to the population of cows on the road, or off the road, that is decreasing? If it is the cow population of the road, then BD activities are a blessing in disguise, because there will be lesser cases of accidents between vehicle and cow.

If population of cow is decreasing, then can we (religiously) convert a few goats to cows i.e., from "go matha" to "goat matha"? After all, both give milk fit for human consumption and biryani can be made from both animals for those who chose to eat their flesh.

For your kind information most of the Cows are slaughtered in the Central market are getting from Dharmasthala and other Hindu temples around the District. All the Hindu radical organization knows about this matter and they are not taking any action against these temples because they won’t get any political or communal benefits. Purpose of saving cows is only for targeting the minorities just for their communal and political benefits. Dear Hindu brother and sister please don’t believe these goondas.

Shame on Bajrang Dal to call a Press Conference and blame the Law and Order System. If they are a responsible party/group they should have reported to the Police instead of taking the law into their own hands and chasing the truck resulting Cow-slaughter which they want to stop. Shame again on them for fleeing from the scene and leaving the poor cattle. Some serious action should be taken against these activists for such crimes in the name of Hinduthva. I commend and respect some of the citizens who tried their best to save the cattle by feeding water etc. BD activists need to be pure vegans too before working on these causes.Shame on you BD.

The beef eating in India has not started now. It was there long long ago. This practice was not brought by Mughals or the British. A part of Indian population was worshipping Cow but other part was sacrificing cows at temples and eat or kill to eat them and found no contradiction. Those days the socalled vegitarians never reared any animals so had no love or hate for any animals.

It is only the meat eaters reared animals loved them and as a food habbit butchered them to eat. It was the natural food chain, no abusing the animal or the human or the practice. Unfortunately the present the socalled hinduthva propagaters taking the roll of facists dictate terms and force their openion on the society. Like in Germany one day or other these forces will try to dominate and ultimately will be defeated universally.

Instead of taking law into their hand, why couldn’t the out-law outfit like Bajrang Dal inform the police?
If the Govt will not take action against the Bajrang Dal, our districts too will turn into a Hindu-Muslim fundamentalists ruled region. Very soon more organised underworld terrorist group will take this opportunity and will force us to pay protection money to their foot soldiers.

Why don’t legally educated elite personalities in this region find a solution to the menace of BD Goonda-raj? Their foot soldiers do so many nonsense such as pelting stones at churches, thrashing the minority students if found with Hindu girls in food-courts, ice-cream parlours or commuting in city buses. This is happening for some time and our police are doing nothing about it.

Should we believe this to be a state sponsored terrorism on soft targets? If not, why the Govt is not giving BD an ultimatum or ban this organisation. The public is turning more restless and if such incidents continues again and again there will going to be counter reaction from the minority communities.

God! Save our people from all evils. Jai Hind!

Majority Hindus own cattle at home. Once the cow stop giving milk ,they want to sell them to butchers, No body will feed the animal without benefit. As onlybutchers give good money, they are forced to sell them as they get good bucks after getting them fatty.

I want to tell my Hindu brothers n sisters not to sell the cattle to butchers, but feed them despite loss in feeding them. Its our Gomatha, Can you do it? Big noooo right?

Problems lies over there. Before banning cow slaughter, State govt has to open centers to collect n feed such useless animals. Infacact they need to buy useless cattle for huge price n spent huge amount to feed them till they die.

When there are not enough old age homes for human beings? Will you think govt will start one for cattle? We are dumping our father n mothers into old age homes, do we feed useless cattle when can't afford feed our own children???

Anti Cow slaughter bill is stupid. I hope my Hindu brothers will understand me. Bajrang Dal is working for the bucks they get from politicians. Can any one BD members is able to feed one useless cow? These jobless don't have mercy for human beings, will they have for cattle? They are the agents for all butcher houses collecting Haftha n selling cattle at high price. If any one does not pay them, they will catch their vehicles.
So allow others to live so that we too may live. Cow just one animal like any other animal.
