Dublin, Apr 13: Members of Konkan Ireland group joined together to take part in the Easter celebrations recently at Pastoral centre, here.
The celebration commenced by the lighting of the Easter candle and procession followed by Holy Mass by Fr Denis. The mass was conducted in English and the hymns were both in English and Konkani lead by enthusiastic choir group of Konkan Ireland.
After mass, Tresa D’Souza (secretary) welcomed the group and president Jacinta D’Costa compered the programme. All kids and adults showed their talents by performing in various ways. All kids were presented with a gift and an Easter egg. Each family got an Easter egg too.
Raffle draw was conducted and two prizes were given away. The programme was concluded by non-stop baila dance by all, with the help of enthusiastic DJ’s Wilson and Ajith.
