Dubai, Apr 14: Nama Tuluveru UAE on the occasion of their 5th anniversary will hold a grand Nama Tuluvere 'Parba 2012' in Dubai on October 5 this year. The event is said to be the most ethnic event ever conducted in UAE.

Nama Tuluveru UAE, a charity based organization that successfully presented Kaup Leeladhar Shetty's 'Aaye Subhagey' Tulu comedy drama, comprise leaders and members of various communities of Tulunadu who gathered at Winny's Restaurant, Karama and announced the forthcoming programme Nama Tuluvere 'Parba 2012'. The best part is there are no portfolios or posts in Nama Tuluveru organization and all the members here are equal leaders as well as followers themselves.

Shodhan Prasad presented the programme through a Power Point presentation covering the whole idea of the 'Parba 2012'. He briefed every bit of the slide and said, "It is nice to see so many people in the early morning hours of Friday, who have assembled to discuss this Tulu programme amidst their busy schedules. The theme of Nama Tuluvere Parba 2012 is to showcase our heritage, tradition, ethnic food, ethnic folk, ethnic artifacts, ethnic sports and ethnic way of life. Tulu is not pertaining to certain community but is the property of all those who belong to Tulunadu irrespective of caste, creed or religion. Hence 'Nama Tuluvere Parba 2012' will be jointly shouldered and presented by all the Tuluva community organizations in UAE who will be supported by the specially arriving various talented teams from Tulu Nadu."

The added attraction of the day will be a famous Tulu drama of well known organiser, Kishore D Shetty's "Kateeldha Appe Ullalthi" comprising 34 member senior artistes who will be exclusively flown from India to present this drama during the concluding part of the day's event. This unique drama has already crossed more than 100 shows elsewhere in India. Moreover a special needs children group of Mangalore who are talented in folklore will also be part of the show. There will be many more surprises of the event which will be announced in the later stage including blood donation mobile campaign unit supporting Dubai blood bank.

As per the organizers, the day-long grand event will be an event to remember. There will be many meetings in the coming days as the preparation has already begun in full swing and updates will be announced in the media from time to time.

Delighted to know that, there is no buracratic porfolios in this organisation. Deffinately a good move.
Unfortunately, there is no lingustic proud among ourselves (Tuluvas). Unlike Malayalis/Tamils, we the Mangaloreans avoid talks in TULU while meeting each other. while meeting each other. May be feel proud while talking in English !!!!!.

    Dear Shodhan,
Great initiative once again. On behalf of our Spandana Team Muscat I wish you and your team all the very best for the thunderous success of Tulu Parbha 2012, especially when the cause is so noble and unique. Selfless service to the society in whatever form will go a long way in enhancing the social objectives.

We the people from Kasargod to Udupi are the Tuluvarus and we all are proud of it. Once upon a time the Tuluvara region had extended from Kota-Saligram to Cannanore (Kannur) and with time, slowly Tulu speaking people are reduced to Mangalore region only. Even in Puttur, Udupi & Kasargod the Tulu speaking people are in minority. Encourage Tulu at least in these regions with Mangalore as epicenter.
