    Mr.Louis Kuwait

It looks like accidental death happens with another truck carrying people and not with Mitsubishi Eicher.

So sad, Mitsubishi Eitcher was Carrying passengers illegally, (no Bajrang Dal in Maharastra?) which is common in rural areas of Maharashtra. God knows how he hit so terribly, ofcourse people on board don't have any safety, no seats nothing to catch to protect themselves. Despite broad highway this happens? May God give peace to departed souls..

Only Strict training & Road safety session before issuing license could minimize such accident. Also there should be strict law for violators and to be followed. There are instance that cleaner becoming driver and this happens in most of the case.

This is a clear case of misuse of vehicle as the lorry is not suppose to transport people. Both the lorries must have been in high speed and lost control and the people in the other lorry had no support to hold when the crash happened. From the pictures I do not see anything damage to the other lorry. RIP for the deceased and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

Yesteryears we used to see Lorry also a means of passenger transport especially during marriage and other functions in DK/Udupi.But the scenarios entirely changed now because due to ample private bus services which is still a monopoly in twin districts. In Chickmagalur district Lorry still has been widely used for passenger transportation which is illegal as per MV rules. Then why RTOs allowing these types of high risk passenger transportation in open lorries?

What happened in Belagavi is a man made mistake which resulted in Pershing ten lives and injuring another 15.Belagavi Transport authority need to give a thought by not allowing Lorries to transport passengers in future.May the souls rest in peace.
