Bahrain: KSC’s New Committee Takes Office

Bahrain, Apr 16: Karnataka Social Club’s new committee took office on Friday April 16 during the Easter celebration programe held at Baan Saeng Thai Hall in Manama.

The executive committee for the year 2012 was selected during the annual general body meeting held at KSC hall on March 22nd March.

The committee comprises of following dignitaries:
Maxim Sequeira : President
Walter Dantis : Vice president
Herald Botelho : General secretary
Muriel Gomes: Assistant general secretary
Vincent Sequeira: Treasurer
Ramdas Salcar: Assistant treasurer
Rajesh Prabhu: Entertainment secretary
Sandra Alvares: Assistant Entertainment secretary
Millard Rodrigues: Sports secretary
Cletus Rodrigues: Administrative member

The Easter celebration was attended by more than 260 members and guests with much fun and enthusiasm along with the new committee.

The programme started with a welcome dance.  Joe Andrade, the master of the ceremony then introduced the new committee to the gathering.

President Maxim Sequeira thanked the members for giving him and his team an opportunity to lead the club and promised to take the club to new heights. He humbly requested the members to come and participate in various club activities in large numbers.

Easter Eggs were distributed to the children and later the dance floor was livened up with couples and children dancing to the music numbers of DJ William.

Former assistant priest of Bahrain Fr Vincent D’Souza graced the occasion.  The programme was conducted by entertainment secretary Rajesh Prabhu.
